The industrial service company Cryotron (Canada) Ltd was purchased in the summer of 2007. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the newly named and operated Cryotron Corporation is now a major supplier of cryogenic equipment to a number of companies located all over the world.
Cryogenics, as it applies to metals and other materials, is a one-time permanent treatment. Cryotron's Vari-Cold technology dramatically reduces machine down-time attributable to tool or part replacement, and is assisted by the latest technologies applied to Cryotron's processing services through continued research and development.
